Top Ten Tuesday – Books on My Fall 2022 TBR
Join Top Ten Tuesday at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list theme is posted and all bloggers are welcome to participate!
It’s time for the seasonal list, my favorite!
I didn’t do great with my summer list, as mid-summer my reading mood changed and I got into horror and thrillers, which were basically absent from said list. So I completed 5 out of 7, but also am midway through 2 of them, so… maybe not as bad as I thought?
As I always do in the fall, the list is mostly horror, fantasy and mystery, with a sprinkle of romance and contemporary fiction.
Will this season be the one where I complete my list? Probably not, but one can hope! I already started with one of them – a few days early, is that cheating? – so maybe I’ll get through it this time around.

And now, 10 12 books I plan to read this fall:
The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean
The Book of Gothel by Mary McMyne
Nettle & Bone by T Kingfisher
The Drowned Woods by Emily Lloyd-Jones
The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake
Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak
The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward
The Hacienda by Isabel Canas
House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson
Mistakes Were Made by Meryl Wilsner
Just Like Magic by Sarah Hogle
A BookTok group is reading The Hacienda in October, so I’m hoping to find time for that. I have Hidden Pictures that I also plan to read.
Last House on Needless Street is wonderfully creepy. I read it earlier this year and it’s in my top books of the year.
I see several other choices I want to read on here as well. I am debating the Taylor Reid Jenkins book a bit. I have enjoyed a lot of other books, but I feel like it may be a bit similar to some of her other offerings.
Nice list. I’m reading Just Like Magic by Sarah Hogle right now, and so far it’s pretty good.
I’ve heard great things about Hacienda. May you enjoy all of them.

The Book Eaters and The Atlas Six are on my list. I tried reading The House on Needless Street, but it just didn’t click with me. I really wanted to like it, though. I hope you enjoy all of these!
Come see my Top Ten!
I hope you enjoy your reads. I see some here I’d read too.
THE BOOK EATERS is one I really need to get to. It sounds so unique and intriguing! I hope you enjoy it and all these others.
Happy TTT!

The Hacienda starts kind of slow, but man, it was one of my favorite books so far this year.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I love horror, so this list looks awesome! I really liked Nettle & Bone. It’s a fun story.
