Top Ten Tuesday – Books On My Spring 2020 TBR
Join Top Ten Tuesday at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list theme is posted and all bloggers are welcome to participate!
I love doing seasonal TBRs, though I actually only do them every other season. I ended up reading 6 out of 10 of the books on my Fall TBR. Could be better, but I’m not mad about it since I enjoyed what I read, whether they were on the list or not.
Here’s what I’m planning to read in the coming months. These covers together have a bit of a wintery feel, but I’m sure I’ll still enjoy reading them in the spring!
This winter I read books from these two authors and loved them, so of course I want to read more : Daughter from the Dark by Marina & Sergey Dyachenko and The Glass Hotel by Emily St.John Mandel
The first book in a new series by a favorite author, The Girl and the Stars by Mark Lawrence, and an intriguing mystery I recently added to my shelves : How a Woman Becomes a Lake by Marjorie Celona
I loved The Female of the Species, so I definitely want to read Be Not Far From Me by Mindy McGinnis, and I’ve been intrigued by this mystery novel which has received great reviews : Long Bright River by Liz Moore
Two YA fantasy novels from authors I’ve really enjoyed before : The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller (probably on audio), and The Midnight Lie by Marie Rutkoski
And the two most recent additions to my shelves : My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson (audio)
What books are planning to read this sping?
I’ve read A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder and really enjoyed it.
Looks like a lot of enjoyable reading. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/03/ttt-031720.html
SO many good ones on your list! I’ve heard The Glass Hotel is really good!
Great list! I love the sound of Be Not Far From Me and I haven’t read any Marie Rutkoski before but, considering her new book is f/f (I believe?), I’m very interested in checking it out. I’ve been hearing so many good things about My Dark Vanessa. Happy reading!
I rarely end up reading all the books I put on my seasonal TBR lists, but it’s still fun to make them! If I get to the books, great; if I don’t, no biggie. I’m looking forward to several of these books as well, especially BE NOT FAR FROM ME. I hope we both enjoy it.
Happy TTT!

The Glass Hotel is also on my list!! Fingers crossed it’s as good as Station Eleven!
My TTT!
The Glass Hotel is probably going on my list- it looks really good. I never got to Station Eleven either, so I should probably just read both haha! I also think A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder looks great.
Oh hello, this is a diverse bunch of books for me! I can’t decide about The Glass Hotel cover — I like the cover, but it’s also cold, even under the starry night.
