Hello everyone,

It’s the middle of July and I feel like I am finally experiencing summer. We had good weather and no smoke this week, so I was able to spend time outside reading, then on Saturday we went to the summer market and ate outside at one of our favorite restaurants. That felt so good.

I have a big mailbox this week, and as is the case most summers with the summer sales and my birthday coming up, I expect to have some big mailboxes in the coming weeks. I am already enjoying The Boyfriend Candidate,  it’s been really cute and entertaining so far.

The Boyfriend Candidate by Ashley Winstead – The Nanny by Lana Ferguson

Other People’s Clothes by Calla Henkel – Chain-Gang All-Stars by Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah – Killing Me by Michelle Gagnon

Episode Thirteen by Craig DiLouie – Witch King by Martha Wells – One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. Enjoy the books. You just reminded me I want to read Episode Thirteen! Glad the weather is getting summery there.

    • Thank you! Glad you are getting some of that summer weather too 🙂

  2. I’m glad you are getting to enjoy some nice weather.
You have a great book haul this week. Killing Me looks interesting to me.
    Happy Reading!

    • Thank you, I am hoping to get to this one soon!

  3. Nice list!
I want to try Wells, but more her scifi than her fantasy. Is she as good in both genres?

    • That’s a good question! I’ve only read her scifi so far and loved it, this will be my first time reading a fantasy novel of hers.
