Good Monday everyone,
Hope you had a great week! I’ve had a super busy week but I did manage to post my review/thoughts for A Discovery of Witches. Sadly this one didn’t work for me, but I’m glad I finally read it.
I have a big mailbox this week, but it looks bigger than it is, as most of these are novellas. I’ve been doing a lot of reading for work, which makes me less willing to read big books at night, so I’ve been mostly listening to audiobooks and reading shorter ones. I’ve already read all three of Nghi Vo’s series this week and really enjoyed them.
Untethered Sky by Fonda Lee (audio) – The Spare Man by Mary Robinette Kowal (audio) – Some Desperate Glory by Emily Tesh (audio)
A Prayer for the Crown-Shy by Becky Chambers – A Mirror Mended by Alix E. Harrow
The Empress of Salt and Fortune – When the Tiger Came Down the Mountain – Into the Riverlands by Nghi Vo
What did you add to your shelves this week?
So many selections this week. I like the look and sound of The Spare Man.
Happy Reading!
Thank you! 🙂
Audiobooks have kept me reading lately – little time to sit with an actual book so I’m glad to listen. I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reading.
Same for me! I can’t believe there was a time when I didn’t like audiobooks. Hope you had a great week!
Discovery of witches didn’t work for me, either!
Aw, I’m sorry to hear that! I really wish it had, I love witches stories.
Lovely, and novellas are great too! They count as books, lol
They absolutely do! I read some big books earlier this year so I think it balances out well.
The Spare Man is so good!
I’m so glad to hear that! I think it’s my next one.
