I have great news to report about my Fall 2022 TBR list : of the 12 books I put on the list, I have read… *drumroll*… 10! I’ll call this a success for sure.

But about a week after I shared my list, I felt a bit unsure about what I wanted to read in the fall, so I shared a second Fall TBR list. Of these 12, I read 7! I don’t think I’ve ever had a TBR list this successful.

And to be completely honest, I don’t think this winter list will be a success. I do want to read all of these books eventually, but I’ve been in a strange reading mood lately and I have no idea what I’ll want to read in the next days, weeks, months. But I put together a list of books from different genres, series I want to finish, things I might want to read really soon (like that Christmas cozy mystery), and we’ll see. After all, putting together the list is half the fun!

And now, 10 12 books I plan to (maybe) read this winter:

What my Bones Know by Sephanie Foo

Twelve Slays of Christmas by Jacqueline Frost

Little Thieves by Margaret Owen

A Restless Truth by Freya Marske

Born a Crime by Trevor Noah

Master of Iron by Tricia Levenseller

Night of the Dragon by Julie Kagawa

Furysong by Rosaria Munda

Well, That Was Unexpected by Jesse Q. Sutanto

The Last Legacy by Adrienne Young

The Last Invitation by Darby Kane

The Personal Assistant by Kimberly Belle

  7. Like you, half the fun is making the list and just lightly holding it in mind to see if you still feel like reading those books months later. Good luck with your list. Born a Crime is definitely worth reading – it’s well written and tells of a difficult childhood and yet he manages to sneak in humor. I added the Munda Fireborne series to my TBR; hope it’s good! 🙂
