Good Monday everyone!

This week I have an all audio “mailbox”. I’d been wanting to try Ann Rule for a while, and though I have The Stranger Beside Me on my shelf, I was looking for something on audio and these ones were available at the library. I’ve already listened to Lust Killer and thought it was good Ann Rule did a great job of  focusing on the victims too, which I always appreciate. Seeing how the investigation was done back then was interesting, too.

I’ve also started listened to the Xenogenesis series with the first book, Dawn, and it’s a really fascinating series. Slow and character driven, but very well built. Looking forward to see where it goes!

Lust Killer and The I-5 Killer by Ann Rule (audio)(library)

Dawn and Adulthood Rites by Octavia E. Butler (audio)

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. The I5 Killer sounds like a page turner!

    • I’m halfway through it and it really is!

  2. Those Octavia Butler re-released covers are awesome.

    • They really are! The image on my audiobooks is different but I’m pretending these are the covers I got, haha!
