Good Monday all!

Hope you had a good week. This week I did some good reading as well as –  gasp! – posted my review for Such a Quiet Place by Megan Miranda.

I also received some books – of course, that’s why we’re here! I used my birthday gift cards on these gorgeous editions of Pride and PrejudiceEmma and Jane Eyre, illustrated by Marjolein Bastin. Her style is so soft and beautiful, it suits the books perfectly. They also have cute little inserts like maps, letters, etc. Here’s an Amazon link to Pride and Prejudice where you can look at some of the illustrations.

I also got some books that I had on my wishlist for a while, as well as received my preorder for Velvet Was the Night. And finally, some library books, Hood Feminism on audio (which I’m currently listening to) and Blade of Secrets.

Velvet Was the Night by Silvia Moreno-Garcia The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow – The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi

Hood Feminism by Mikki Kendall (library) Blade of Secrets by Tricia Levenseller (library)

What did you add to your shelves this week?
