Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend!
Some very interesting books landed in my mailbox this week. My preorders for The Intimacy Experiment and Twice Shy arrived early, which is always exciting. I really enjoyed both authors’ previous books (especially You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle) so I’m looking forward to them both. I also really liked Fireborn by Rosario Munda, so I’m happy the sequel is here.
I also already listened to Every Vow You Break and enjoyed it. It’s a bit different from other currently popular psychological thrillers, and I can see why it’s getting a bit of a mixed reaction, but it entertained me for sure!

I really enjoyed Every Vow You Break! I had to suspend my disbelief a little but I thought it was entertaining. Hope you enjoy(ed) the sample, I’m rereading all Grishaverse books and looking forward to getting to the new one..

I’m really hesitant on Rule of Wolves for some reason. I don’t really remember the first book in the series so I probably need to go back and read it again first.
I actually haven’t read the first book, but I remember it got some mixed reviews. I’ve enjoyed Leigh Bardugo’s books enough that I didn’t mind getting this one without reading the first one, and I wanted to know what would happen. I’m rereading all the Grishaverse books right now so I’m hoping to get to it soonish.
