Hello everyone!

Hope you had a good week and read some amazing books (any new favourite?) I’ve been on a roll with my reading this year. I’m not sure what is going on and I foresee a huge reading slump sometime in my future, as I’m not sure this pace is sustainable for me; but I’m enjoying it while it last.

I also wrote a post for Red, White & Royal Blue this week. I enjoyed it, but after all the hype, it sadly failed to meet my expectations.

And here are the books I’ve added to my shelves this week! I stumbled upon They Never Learn this week while looking at recent thrillers and was immediately intrigued. I’d never heard about it before I don’t think. Has anyone read it? Also, I’ve started From Blood and Ash today and I’m already enjoying it.

Stay safe everyone! <3

They Never Learn by Layne Fargo (audio) – The Midnight Bargain by C.L. Polk – Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher (audio) – The Widow of Rose House by Diana Biller

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. Books that have been ‘hyped’ rarely meet my expectations, sadly. The Widow of Rose House looks really good!

  2. Sorry about the disappointment of Red, White & Royal Blue. It sounded good!

Enjoy your week, and here are my WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. That’s great you’re on a roll with reading so far. I keep seeing Red, White & Royal Blue all over blogland. Enjoy your books this week, they look good especially The Widow of Rose House.

  4. The Widow of Rose House looks good. I’ve been wanting to read Red, White & Royal Blue for a while, but who knows when I will get to it.

Thanks for sharing your books this week.

  5. Love the cover on The Widow of Rose House.

    They Never Learn looks good.

ENJOY all of your books and your week.

  6. Looks like a great mailbox. I want to look closer at From Blood and Ash.
Have a good week and Happy Reading!

  7. I too, have been on something of a roll with my reading this year so far, in fact I have almost reached my projected Goodreads target already, which is unheard of! Something has to give though and this pace just can’t last forever!!

Whilst not all of your books sound like stories from my preferred reading genres, you have some amazing cover art to gaze at this time, and I do have my eye on ‘They Never Learn’. I just reviewed a book about some really terrible ‘goings on’ at a private school, so this one sounds really good right now!

Thanks for sharing and enjoy all your new finds 🙂

  8. Omg ‘They Never Learn’ has been on my list for so long, it sounds soooo goood! There is also a solid aesthetic to all these covers, very Gothic and red! I hope the reading slump stays far away from you and that you enjoy all of these books! I hope you have a lovely week and do drop by my Monday post if you have the time! – Juli @ A Universe in Words

  9. I agree – THEY NEVER LEARN sounds awesome. I’m also intrigued by THE WIDOW OF ROSE HOUSE. That cover is so striking!
