Top Ten Tuesday – Books on My Spring 2021 TBR

Join Top Ten Tuesday at That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week  a new Top Ten list theme is posted and all bloggers are welcome to participate!

As I said before I love making these reading lists, even though I never end of sticking to it. I read 5 out of 10 from my fall list, which is pretty typical. But I have a good feeling about this one… I think?

I picked 5 speculative fiction novels and 5 romance ones, since that’s basically all I’ve been reading lately. So there’s a good chance I might do better this time around. Let’s aim for… 7 out of 10, at least! That sounds doable, right?

Bone Crier’s Moon by Kathryn Purdie

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Gideon the Ninth by Tasmyn Muir

From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Amentrout

A Rogue of One’s Own by Evie Dunmore

How to Fail at Flirting by Denise Williams

One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston

Second First Impressions by Sally Thorne

The Intimacy Experiment by Rosie Danon

  1. Gideon the Ninth was a great read! And both Addie La Rue and Evelyn Harcastle are books I have been meaning to get around to at some point…

These are the books on my Spring TBR list!

    • I’ve heard a lot of good things about Gideon so I’m looking forward to it. It’s at the top of my pile so this week or the next unless my mood changes!

  2. I’m so curious about The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.

    • I’ve heard some great things about it!

  3. Sally Thorne’s book made my list, too. I was lucky to read Danan’s book early, and I LOVED IT. Maybe even more than The Roommate!

    • Oh wow, I’m glad to hear this. I really enjoyed The Roommate so I’m really looking forward to it (even more so now!)

  4. I still need to read Bone Crier’s Moon and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. I just bought From Blood and Ash! I’m excited to get into that one. I’ve seen nothing but great things. Happy reading 🙂

    • I just started reading From Blood and Ash today and I’m enjoying it so far. Thank you for stopping by!

  5. Same. I rarely read all the books on my seasonal TBR lists. That doesn’t mean it’s not fun to make them, though! Enjoy your books 🙂

    Happy TTT!

    • The lists are definitely a lot of fun! I do try to follow through with them, but I’m a bit of a mood reader so it doesn’t always work. Which is okay! Thank you for stopping by 🙂

  6. I really enjoyed Addie LaRue. I have Evelyn Hardcastle on my TBR, it’s definitely one I want to get to at some point.

    • Addie Larue is definitely really well loved! I look forward to reading it. Thanks for stopping by!

  7. I like making book lists too and looking back on them to see which I ended up actually reading. Great list, I just added The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle to my TBR list.

    • I really enjoy making the lists too, even when I “fail”. I’m such a mood readers, it’s hard to predict what I’ll want to read a month or two from now.

I’ve heard some good things about The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, I hope you enjoy it too!

  8. I *really* enjoyed “The Invisible Life”! It’s outside of my reading comfort zone so I wasn’t even the ideal audience for it, but it is just such a good story! I hope you enjoy it, too. Good luck sticking to your list!

    • Oh that’s good to hear! I’ve heard so many amazing things about it, I’m really curious to see whether I’ll enjoy it too. Thank you!

  9. I want to read One Last Stop and Addie LaRue too!

    • I’ve heard so many amazing things about Addie Larue! Thank you for stopping by 🙂

  10. Addie LaRue is soooo good! And Gideon is on my list too.

    • Oh I’m so glad to hear you loved Addie Larue! That eases my fears a little, I’m always a bit hesitant when there’s so much hype. I’m hoping to read Gideon this week or the next.
