Hello everyone!

I’m late again today, but it’s still Monday, so it’s fine, right?

This week was good, I enjoyed my reading and even managed to post my review for The Broken Girls.

I was really sad when I heard the news this weekend that Rachel Caine passed away. I’d been following her on Twitter for a while so it wasn’t a surprise, but still heartbreaking. I’ve enjoyed all of the books I’ve read from her, and have several more on my shelves and or my wishlist. Coincidentally, I had ordered books 3 & 4 of her Stillhouse Lake series last week (really enjoyed the first two books!), and was hoping/planning to reread the Weather Warden books (and finish the series) in 2021.

And of course, I have a few more new books on my shelves.

I hope the coming week is good for everyone; I know this election week in the US is a very stressful time for many (we feel it here in Canada too, so I can only imagine!), so I’m sending lots of love your way.

Stay safe everyone! <3

Magic Lessons by Alice Hoffman – A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown

The Devil and the Dark Water by Stuart Turton – Hamnet & Judith by Maggie O’Farrell

Wolfhunter River and Bitter Falls by Rachel Caine

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. I hadn’t heard about Rachel Caine. That’s sad. 🙁

  2. I have enjoyed the first book in the Rachel Caine series…and I love Maggie O’Farrell’s books, so I’m curious about this new one. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

  3. Late is certainly okay and welcome!
Several of those covers look so ethereal!
I have the first of the Rachel Caine Stillhouse Lake series which I want to listen to soon. I just recently read about her health struggles. It is very sad about her death.
Thanks for the kind thoughts as we wait out our election results.
    Happy Reading!

  4. I still need to read Wolfhunter River and Bitter Falls

  5. GORGEOUS covers.

    THE BROKEN GIRLS was good.

Hope you had a good week.
