Good Monday everyone,
How have you been? How was your Easter weekend? I hope you are all doing well. Here things are good, or as much as they can be right now. Still taking it one day at a time, and enjoying nice walks on our street. The snow is almost all gone and the forest is slowly waking up.
This week I read My Dark Vanessa and I’m not sure what to say about that book. It was powerful and well written, but a really difficult read. I would cautiously recommend it. After that, I definitely needed something a little less intense, so I’ve been enjoying YA fantasy.
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I bought a lot of books when feeling stressed, and that I would have some huge book hauls soon, but the boxes took a while to arrive (normal right now) and since then I’ve quarantined them in a closet. I’ll be opening them over the next few weeks!
But here’s what I added more recently.
Stay safe everyone! <3
My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh (audio) – The First Time Lauren Pailing Died by Alyson Rudd (audio)
Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto – Reign the Earth by A.C. Gaughen
What did you add to your shelves this week?
Great book covers! Enjoy them all, and thanks for sharing. Thanks for visiting my blog, and enjoy your week.
The Alyson Rudd book caught my eye. I hope you love it and all of your new books!
My Year of Rest and Relaxation didn’t work for me but I think I was too old for it. I hope you love it.
I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on Reign the Earth. I had some really mixed feelings about it.
I like the looks of the Crown of Feathers and Reigh the Earth.
I’m looking forward to seeing your books when you take them out of quarantine. 🙂
Meanwhile, stay safe and enjoy your reading.
