Good Monday all!

Drummrolls please : I posted a review this week! It’s not the best or most detailed I’ve ever written, but it exists! So if you’re interested in reading a few of my thoughts on one of my favorite reads of 2019, have a look at my review of The Chestnut Man

Also, funny coincidence : The Chestnut Man is today’s daily deal at Audible!

Here are the books I added this week. Split Tooth is one that I’m feeling a bit unsure about (which is why I borrowed it). The book is written in prose, I think, and I’m wondering if I would enjoy reading it on paper more. But I’m ready to give it a try!

The Bookwoman of Troublesome Creek is one based on similar events as The Giver of Stars, which I thought was fine, so I was curious to see how a different author would choose to tell a similar story.

Split Tooth by Tanya Tagaq (audio)(library) – Empire of Wild by Cherie Dimaline

Six Stories by Matt Wesolowski – The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson (audio)

What did you add to your shelves this week?
