Good Monday all!

I have a tiny mailbox this week, two nonfiction books.

I’ve been wanting to read Caitlin Doughty’s books for a while, and with the current Audible sale her newest release was quite affordable, so I decided to start with this one. It’s also the winner for the Science & Technology category for this year Goodreads Choice Awards, so I’m hopeful this should be interesting.

The Great Pretender is about a group of sane, healthy people going undercover in an asylum in the 70s, and it sounds absolutely fascinating. I only realized once it got here this is by the same author as Brain on Fire (like it’s not written big enough on the cover!), which I have had on my shelf since… I don’t want to say when! So I’m not sure which I’ll start with, but I’d like to get both of them read soon.
