Good Monday everyone!

Hope you had a great week! Mine was crazy busy and the coming one should be just a little less. And we had snow! It’s a lovely sight though I know not everyone is happy about it. It makes we want to curl up with a good book and a mug of coffee all day, every day.

And now, the books!

The Toll was one of my most waited for books of 2018, so of course I got the audio as soon as it came out. I’m already a few hours in and loving it, but I’ve been pacing myself as I’m not eager for this series to end. I’ve also already read part of Binti, and enjoyed it, so I decided to get the one volume instead of three separate ones.

Has anyone read The Giver of Stars? I wasn’t sure if I would read it, but I listened to the sample and something about it reminded me of the historical fiction I used to enjoy years and years ago. I was actually surprised I got it so soon from the library! I wasn’t planning on reading it so soon, but I might simply re-borrow it if I don’t get to it within the next 20 days.

The Toll by Neal Shusterman (audio) – The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes (audio) (library)

Binti – The Complete Trilogy by Nnedi Okorafor – The Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons

What did you add to your shelves this week?
