Good Monday everyone!

‘Tis the season for fantasy, and it seems I have some black, read and white theme going on this week!

I’ve been reading and listening to a lot of horror books this past couple weeks (getting into the Halloween spirit!), so fantasy sounds like a nice change of pace (though I still have some more spooky books I’d like to read if not this month, then in November). I’m currently reading City of Ghosts and close to done with it, so I’m looking forward to reading City of Bones soon after. I’ve also heard a lot of mixed things about Ninth House so I’m super curious to find out whether I enjoy it or not.

There Will Come a Darkness by Katy Rose Pool – Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo – The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh

  1. Gorgeous covers on your books! I don’t usually read fantasy,(or horror) but perhaps I should.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and enjoy your week.

    • I find that thrillers often come close to horror, with the right atmosphere, so maybe you could start with a thriller-horror type of book. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Your covers are color coordinated again. I hope the books are all as good as they look.

    • They are! I like to organize them from time to time. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. It’s fun that you are able to color coordinate with the covers.
    Ninth House gets my intereest.
    Happy Reading!

    • Haha, I enjoy it too! Thanks for stopping by my blo9!

  4. I really liked the Victoria Schwab books! They were just perfect for RIP. I haven’t heard anything at all about Ninth House yet. I’m still like #45 on the hold list at the library though, so it’ll be awhile before I can try it myself unless I can snag an Express Shelf copy at some point. Looking forward to your thoughts.

    • I’ve really been enjoying them too, they’re perfect at this time of the year. I just started Tunnel of Bones and I’m excited to explore the spooky side of Paris. Hopefully you’ll be able to get your hands on Ninth House sooner rather than later.

  5. All dark, matching covers. 🙂 Hope they are good.

ENJOY your week and your books.

    • Thank you, and thank you for stopping by!

  6. Love your WORDS FOR THOUGHTS quote.

    Thanks for sharing.
