Hello everyone!

And happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians!

I preordered some books for October and somehow they are all arriving late, meaning my mailbox this week is smaller than planned. I don’t mind (though I’m looking forward to my new books!), as it gives me time to catch up with my infinite list of books to read.

I listened to The Echo Killing last week and should have a review up for it a few days from now, and I really enjoyed it. I love a good investigative journalist, so I’m looking forward to listening to A Beautiful Corpse. The Last Astronaut sounds like a mix of sci-fi thriller & horror, which I always love.

I also decided to add some horror books a reader friends recommended to me. I think these will be perfect for the season!

  1. The Last Astronaut sounds good but I get anxious reading books like it.
    Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. You’ve got a color scheme going on. I’m intrigued by The End of Temperance Dare.

  3. Both books look tempting. Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.

  4. This is definitely the season for the horror genre. I just did a handful plus for Fraterfest.
I like the looks of The Last Astronaut.
    Happy Reading!

  5. Enjoy! They all look good, especially The Last Astronaut.
