Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday everyone!

There’s still some days left before it’s officially fall, but it certainly feels like the season’s already changed! I’m slowly accepting it and getting ready to plunge into some of my favorite books for the season : thrillers, fantasy and maybe some historical fiction.

I have a smaller (good thing!) bookmail this week, with one audio from the library and a surprise buy with Bloodleaf. I actually had it on my Audible wishlist so when it went on sale this weekend, I happily added it to my collection!

Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff – Bloodleaf by Crystal Smith (audio)

The Passengers by John Marrs – The Chain by Adrian McKinty (audio -library)

  1. Except that there’s less daylight, it still feels like summer here.

I’m reading really good things about The Passengers. I hope you love it.

  2. We had a cool weekend and today it’s drizzling and mid 60s but tomorrow is supposed to be upper 80s. That roller coaster weather time of year. As long as it isn’t snowing…

  3. THE PASSENGERS and THE CHAIN sound VERY intense.

ENJOY your books and your week.

  4. I’ve heard good things about The Passengers.

Have a great week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  5. I almost picked up Bloodleaf too. Just barely resisted.
We are still having hot, hot days in the mid 90s feeling like over 100. I am looking forward to fall!
    Enjoy your reading and listening!

  6. I think everything published made a lot of sense.
But, think about this, what if you typed a catchier post
    title? I ain’t suggesting your information isn’t
solid, but suppose you added a title that makes people desire more?
I mean Filling the Shelf | The Infinite Curio is a little boring.
You might peek at Yahoo’s home page and watch
how they create article headlines to get people to click. You might add a
related video or a pic or two to grab people interested about
what you’ve got to say. Just my opinion, it could make your posts a little livelier.
