Hello everyone!

Hope you had a great week. Here it seems the weather is already getting a little cooler – just as I was getting used to the hot, warm summer days!

But I’ve still been able to enjoy a lot of reading time outside, which is great. I also found time to write my review of Tangerine just after reading it. I quite enjoyed this one, despite a few flaws.

Most of the new books on my shelves this week have been out for a while, which is great as I was able to find great deals for them. The exception being The Dragon Republic, which is brand new. I simply couldn’t wait to see what would happen next in the series!

Beartown by Fredrik Backman – The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker –  The Break by Katherena Vermette

A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis – The Dragon Republic by R. F. Kuang – The Queen’s Rising by Rebecca Ross

  1. It’s still hot, hot, hot here but I’m okay with that – I’m not ready for summer to end.

Getting bargains on books is always fun – I hope you got some winners in there!

    • I’m not ready for summer either! Hopefully we’ll have a few more warm days before it’s officially fall.

  2. Our weather is still hot. Looks like you got some good books.
    Happy Reading!

    • I have great hopes for them all, haha! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  3. It’s still cold here in Australia and we have had snow in areas that should never see snow. I like the look of The Dragon Republic.

    • Oh wow! Snow can be a pain when you’re not ready for it.
I’m really looking forward to The Dragon Republic since I really liked the first book. It has a nice cover, too!

  4. Our weather is still hot but tolerable. I’m hoping for a long, lovely Fall.
Gorgeous covers on your new books.

    • Fall is my favourite season, so even though I’m not ready for summer to end, I’m looking forward to it.

  5. Your books look good. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.

    • I think so too 🙂 Thank you for stopping by!
