Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday everyone,

Hope you all had a great week! Here we’ve had some sunny days and rainy nights, which is quite perfect. I’ve done a bit of reading and added some books to my shelf (surprise!)

It’s quite a blue mailbox this week, though it was completely unplanned (I feel that all thrillers have either blue tones or black tones recently). Also, I’m cheating a little by adding a library book, The Better Sister, which I plan on listening to in the coming weeks. I don’t really have a post to share my library books, so I thought maybe I’d share them here too? Do other people do this?

In any case, here are the books I added this week. I just finished reading Ash Princess and I’m already looking forward to reading Lady Smoke!

The Call of the Wild by Jack London – Seafire by Natalie C. Parker (audio) –  Lady Smoke by Laura Sebastian

I’ll Never Tell by Catherine McKenzie – The Better Sister by Alafair Burke (audio) – The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda

  1. Blue covers this week. I’ve heard great things about Burke’s writing.

  2. Nice mailbox. Seafire and Lady Smoke both look good.
I think it is fine to include library “loot”; even if you will be returning them.
    Happy Reading!

  3. I’ve seen lots of blue covers around lately. Must be the in colour. Lady Smoke has the most gorgeous cover.
