Hello readers, and welcome to this week’s blue mailbox!

I hope you all had a great week. Here we had beautiful weather and I spent a lot of time outside reading. I also found time to share my thoughts on Dark PlacesGillian Flynn writes some dark stuff but I always enjoy her books, and this one was no exception.

My week also included an unplanned trip to the dentist to fix a tooth that was hurting (is there anything more painful than tooth pain??) I’m so glad it’s fixed for now! I have to go back for the root canal treatment – yikes – but on the plus side I found a new dentist close to home that I really like, so that eases the fear a tiny little bit.

I’m much more excited about my new books though! Except for Peng Sheperd, these are all authors I’ve enjoyed before and I’m looking forward to reading them again. Two of these were also birthday gifts, which I’m very thankful for <3

An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena – The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager (audio)

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J. Maas – The Book of M by Peng Shepherd

What books did you recently add to your shelves?
