Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday readers !

Hope you all had an amazing weekend! Here we had beautiful weather, it felt almost like summer, and the trees are finally showing off the first hint of their new leaves. It’s lovely, I’m really looking forward to spending our first summer here rather than in the city (though I also really enjoyed the city!) I feel we have a good idea of what we want to do with the backyard and such, both short term and long term, and it’s really exciting to start working on it.

We also spent a lovely day with my mom on Saturday, to celebrate Mother’s Day. After almost losing her last fall, the day felt even more important this year. <3 She’s been doing good, though she’s lost a lot of strength. We are also still waiting on the tests I mentioned before, I have no idea when she’ll get to do them. But, meanwhile, she’s doing a great job of taking care of herself and getting back as much strength as she can.

And now, the books! Here are the ones that made it home in the past 2 weeks. Of course I’ve already read Only Human, since I couldn’t wait to see how the series would end. I’ll post a review soon, but I can tell you that I enjoyed it a lot. I’m also really looking forward to reading Still Water since Still Mine was quite good.

Only Human by Sylvain Neuvel – The Perfect Mother by Aimee Molloy

Still Water by Amy Stuart – This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada (audio)

What books did you recently add to your shelves?
