Hello readers !
Hope you all had a good week and a great Easter weekend! 🙂
Once more my reading this week was really good : I listened to both audiobooks I added to my shelf (and featured in this post), as well as finished reading Obsidio – and it was amazing! A great end to a great series.
I also reviewed Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney, which I mostly enjoyed and would recommend to fans of mystery novels with unreliable narrators.
As for the books, I’m really happy with the ones I added this week. I’m particularly excited to finally have my copy of Children of Blood and Bone. It sounds amazing and I’ve only head good and great things about it. I’m hoping to read it in April.
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi – Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan (audio)
The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw (audio) – Robots vs. Fairies edited by Dominik Parisien & Navah Wolfe
What books did you recently add to your shelves?
Anatomy of a Scandal looks really good to me. Enjoy!
I really enjoyed it! I would recommend it.
After reading so many good reviews I now also want to read The Illuminae series. Enjoy your new books!
It was amazing from beginning to end! Thank you for stopping by!
Neat bunch of books this week. I’ve been seeing Sometimes I Lie around blogs and was wondering about it. Might try it out. Just added Wicked Deep to my want to read list on GoodReads. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a great week.
I think Sometimes I Lie is definitely one that is worth giving a try. It’s an entertaining and intriguing read for sure! Thank you for stopping by 🙂
Good book haul. I need to take a look at the blurb for Robots v Fairies.
Happy Reading!
It’s a short stories collection, and the theme is exactly what the title says it is! 🙂 I haven’t started it yet, but it had a lot of authors I enjoy. Happy reading to you too! 🙂
Great covers on all your new books. I hope you love them!
I agree! Good covers are hard to resist 🙂
Fingers crossed that Children of Blood and Bone works for you!
I really hope so, it sounds amazing. I’m hoping on reading it this month!
ENJOY your books.
Nice covers, but not a genre I read.
Have a great week.
Thank you! Luckily, covers are easy to enjoy no matter the genre 🙂
I loved Anatomy of a Scandal…and I see what you mean about Sometimes I Lie. I am moving slowly through it, eager to learn more, but it’s not happening very quickly.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
I also really enjoyed Anatomy of a Scandal, and I’m glad to know you did too! I love a good court drama but this one also had depth.
Thank you for stopping by and happy reading!
