Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Hello hello everyone!

It’s another week that begins and another exciting book delivery is here! I believe the next few weeks will be heavy with books, with so many book releases on the program.

This week has been mostly about filling collections : first, Harry Potter on audio, which has been an amazing experience so far. Jim Dale makes it new again for me, I am completely in love. Then, I got the books I was missing from N. K. Jemisin, and Liane Moriarty’s books, which I had been wanting to read for a long long time. Especially with Big Little Lies’ adaptation coming out soon (now?)

And finally, a YA thriller taking place in Kenya, City of Saints & Thieves, which sounds different enough, and an historical non fiction book on the Victorian life. I’m super interested in this one, the tone is a bit humorous but still factual, and it’s probably my next read!

  1. I’m usually not the biggest fan of thrillers, however “City of Saints & Thieves” sounds too good to not give it a try.

    Happy Reading!

  2. I’m hoping to read Big Little Lies this year. It’s on my shelf but so are dozen of others… Have a great week, Kay!

  3. I have both of Moriarty’s books in my bookshelf but have yet to read them. Hope you love your new books!

  4. They all look so good. ENJOY!!

I still haven’t read BIG LITTLE LIES, and I have had it on my shelf for at least two years. Bad me.

CITY OF SAINTS AND THIEVES looks quite good.

    Have a wonderful week.
