Good Monday dear readers!

And here we are in November! I love this time of the year leading up to the Holidays! We’re not decorating before the end of the month, but I’ve already started on planning my Christmas shopping and we’ve started planning all the food stuff. Exciting!

And a bunch of new books on my shelf, heavy on fantasy and middle grade fiction I’d been eyeing for a while – with the exception of The Female of the Species, which is a YA contemporary I’ve seen compared to Dexter and the movie Hard Candy. This sounds so promising, I plan on reading it really soon!  And I do have to mention that this illustrated edition of A Game of Thrones is so VERY gorgeous.

    • Thank you! I’ve heard great things about The Thousand Names; I can’t say that I’ve read a lot of military fantasy, but it’s different from what I’ve been reading lately.
