Happy Halloween!

Hope you all had a great & spooky weekend! 🙂 My celebrations were limited to a pumpkin spiced latte and a bit of scary reading – just how I like it!

I have a bit of a bigger mailbox this week since I skipped a mailbox or two, I’m not sure, but of course I added a few things to my shelves recently. I already managed to read The Dead Girls of Hysteria Hall and Daughters Unto Devils, which were respectively great and good and both perfect picks for this gloomy season.

And then all books I wished for, by authors I’ve read and enjoyed before. Anecdote : I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had never read Jodi Picoult before, but I was looking through old lists of books read and realized that in fact, I had! But a long time ago, translated in French. I rarely forget authors and books, so I’m guessing I “registered” it in my memory as a different author because of the language. I thought that was interesting!
