Good Monday everyone!

Hope you had a great weekend! Here it’s been a long weekend for Thanksgiving, so we are still relaxing today, mostly. I also did a lot of reading – September and October have been crazy with new releases from favorite authors, as well as trying to catch up with series! I foresee a lot of new books in the coming weeks, be prepared 🙂

For this week, I got an amazing surprise at the bookstore when I stumbled upon a copy of Gemina – which I was expecting for October 18, day of its release! I love when my bookstore does that.

I also got Replica, which is interesting in big part for its format : the book tells the story of 2 girls, one of each side of the book, and by flipping the book you can read them one after the other, or parallel one to the other. I’m not sure I’m explaining it right, but in any case, it’s super intriguing and I’m looking forward to reading it (also, it’s super pretty!), even though Lauren Oliver and I aren’t always the best match.

I picked Kasie West’s P.S. I Like You because she writes the cutest, most comforting stories, and of course Marie Lu’s The Midnight Star which concludes the Young Elites series. And then two books from my wishlist, happily spotted on sale!

  1. I’m listening to “P.S. I like you” right now and it’s definitely very entertaining and cute. My preordered copy of “Gemina” also arrived a few days early and that made me one happy reader.

    Happy Reading!

    • Yay! I’m happy to hear this about P.S., it’s exactly what I had been hoping for. I’ll probably listen to Marie Lu’s latest first, but this will be next. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I love the cover of Replica but don’t think the book is for me.

  3. So jealous you got Gemina early! Hopefully mine will arrive soon!

  4. Hope Gemina exceeds your expectations!

  5. Happy reading

    • Thank you! 🙂

  6. ENJOY your books.

    Have a wonderful reading week.
