Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Hello again dear readers!

How was your week?

Here things have been going smoothly, I’m getting back into my regular schedule. The weather was extremely cold this weekend so it was a good time to stay in and read. We also had a lovely Valentine’s day dinner, perfectly cooked by the Man of the House. And of course, I got some new books! I’m on a “new books” kick right now, which happens from time to time, but it usually balances out over the year!

There’s a few different things, but I’m definitely in a YA and speculative fiction mood right now! The Dark Days Club looks good and it’s also super pretty (I’m not ashamed of being so book-shallow!)

  1. The First Fifteen Lives of Henry August? I wonder how many lives he has.

  2. Nothing wrong with admiring covers! I was just noticing this morning that the cover really is the thing that draws me in if I haven’t heard of a particular book before. Have a good week, Kay, and I hope you enjoy your new books.

  3. I love a pretty cover, too…even though I mostly get e-books and never get to look at the cover when I’m reading…lol.

Enjoy your books, and I’m curious about The Fold. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  4. Glad you had a happy valentine’s day! All your new books are gorgeous. I’ve heard good things about the Pierce Brown series. I still need to catch up with The Assassin’s Blade sometime. Happy reading!

  5. The Fold is SO good. Enjoy!!!

  6. Happy reading!

  7. ENJOY your books.
