Filling the Shelf – 181

Filling the Shelf simply is Mailbox Monday, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday everyone!

I’ve got a huge mailbox to share this week, well, huge for me anyway. It’s been a while since I received this many books at once, but it’s hard to resist when Bookoutlet offers so many great book deals. I’m sure many of you can relate; I love books, but I love it even more when I can get lots of them for little money!

I feel like this bunch of books is really representative of my eclectic reading life, too: there’s YA and mysteries and horror and speculative fiction and historical…  I’m excited about all of them, too. I already finished Mind of Winter and it was quite good.

Here they are, more or less organized by color tones because you know that’s how I love it! 🙂

Mind of Winter by Laura Kasischke – Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld

The Shining Girls by Lauren Beukes – Charm & Strange by Stephanie Kuehn

The End of Everything by Megan Abott – All Unquiet Things by Anna Jazrab – The Spectacular Now by Tim Tharp

What books did you recently add to your shelves?

  1. I think Daughter of the Gods looks great!

  2. Great haul! As I meandered through your titles, I realized that I have The Spectacular Now “hiding” on my Kindle….I saw the movie and then downloaded the book. That was a while ago. Must move it to my device (from the cloud).

Enjoy! Thanks for visiting my blog.

  3. I love Megan Abbott’s work!

  4. Happy Reading!!

  5. Wow, so many books! I am on a book buying ban but you’re making me want to check out Bookoutlet. (Must resist!) I enjoyed Every Day, Spectacular Now, and All Unquiet Things. Love that cover of Charm & Strange.
Enjoy all your new reads 🙂
