Hello dear readers!
How was your week? We had a fantastic summer weather here for our long weekend. We explored out of the city and received friends for a casual barbecue dinner, and it feels great to have Monday off, too!
This weekend I also finally posted a review. I keep thinking I need to be better at them, but I hadn’t felt really inspired to write them recently. I did have fun writing one for Maine though (spoilers : I loved it!)
I also added a few books to the shelves, of course. I’d been waiting long for Second Life, and I can’t wait to finally read it. The reviews I’ve seen made it sound good!

And another book to my coloring book collection; I love Millie Marotta’s work and I was excited when my preorder arrived a week early! (and now, no more new coloring books for a while…)

Glad you’re enjoying the holiday weekend! Tropical World looks like a fun coloring book- I love birds so that one is tempting. I’ve been meaning to read For Today I am a Boy and have heard great things about it.

For Today I Am a Boy sounds really good to me. I’m not so great at coloring but am thinking of hosting a coloring party so I can watch others at work and see if I can pick up some tips.
