Happy Monday all!

That’s it, July is over and August is here! It feels really weird to me; we’ve been having a very rainy and unusually cold summer, and while I’m not a fan of the super hot days, I’d still like to get a few more rays of sunshine. I feel as though the summer is only starting!

But July is over, and with it my month of reading YA contemporary fiction. It was a great month. Lots of good and entertaining reading, and not too many disappointments. A total of 17 books, 3 of them audio.

I really, really need to catch up with reviews though!

I can quickly tell you though, that I found a new favorite in The Summer of Chasing Mermaids by Sarah Ockler. So beautifully written! I’ve been a fan for a long time, and yet she completely blew me away. Loved the story, the characters, everything.

Another week, another bunch of new books. Summerlong and Eight Hundred Grapes are on audio, I’m really looking forward to listening to them.
