I’ll admit, Sanur was not our favorite place on Bali. But maybe that’s because we never saw sunrises like this! That probably would have gone a long way to making our time there a little more breathtaking! 🙂
Ha! We enjoyed Sanur but it was definitely a more… “touristy” place? Not as many sights around as, say, Ubud; but we needed a week of quiet, relaxing times and it was the perfect spot for it! 🙂
Two weeks was short though and we are already planning on going back, maybe a bit longer, or with a stop in Malaysia maybe.

Just breathtaking. I can’t imagine how moving it was to see that! I love the sunrise — even if I can barely stir to see it most of the time.
That’s the thing, I never get up to see the sunrise here. But on vacation, it felt like an energizing adventure.
