Stuff that Happened in the Past Week & Filling the Shelf – 123

Happy Monday everyone!

I feel like I have been a ghost for the past couple of weeks. It’s not just the blog going quiet, it’s me, not taking the time to comment as much. I’m really sorry about that. I mean, I have never been a chatty blogger, but I used to managed at least half a dozen to a dozen of comments a day. Now, not so much. I just don’t feel it. It happens, you know? It will come back, I just have to wait for it!

Meanwhile, a lot of exciting things happened recently, prepare for a lot of gushing!

Thing 1 : Nanowrimo!

I joined Nanowrimo for the first time this year! So exciting! I have always loved writing and before university, it used to take as much of my free time as reading (sometimes more!). I had been wanting to join Nanowrimo for years, and than this year, on November 2nd, I realized it was actually possible this year for me to participate and make time to write. I had an idea that had been nagging me for a few months, so it was a perfect timing really. I am doing it in French, and I am a little behind on words, but I don’t really care that much (even though I will try to catch up!)

If you are participating too, why not add me as a buddy?

Thing 2 : Comics!

I was a bit surprised (to say the least!) this week when a friend messaged me to tell me she had seen one of my comic on the Tumblr’s of two people I am a huge fan of, Hank Green and Will Wheaton. What a weird moment, but a definitely great one of course!

This reminded me, I probably should put up a new comic soon. I have like three that are half scribbled!

Thing 3 : Books!

Got two new books I was really, really, really excited for!

Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday or the more recent Stacking the Shelves, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit the two hosts!

Hyperbole and a Half  by Allie Brosh : Already read. I laughed, I cried. If you’re familiar with Allie Brosh, this won’t be surprising to you! Review to come, hopefully soon!

An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Heart by Chris Hadfield : Chris Hadfield is my favorite astronaut and I was so excited when I heard of his upcoming book! I have started reading it slowly, it’s super positive so far and I am really enjoying it!

What did you add to your shelves recently?
