Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday or the more recent Stacking the Shelves, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit the two hosts!

Hey y’all! I am still looking for more guest bloggers for August and would be much thankful if you guys would like to help me out! Click here for more info!

Happy Monday all!

Only a few days left before we leave for Paris, and there is so much more left to do! Schedule the blog, amongst other things, but also packing and getting some last few things. But I am SO excited! I can’t wait to go!

I’m also excited about the new books that came in :

Flirting in Italian by Lauren Henderson : One word : Italy! Yay! Also, summer and boys; this looks like it could be cute and fun.

You Look Different in Real Life by Jennifer Castle : Contemporary YA about a small group of teens living their lives on film. I liked the idea, we’ll see if the story is as fun!

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness : I have seen NO negative reviews of this one. I’m sure they’re out there, but it’s all 5 stars and a few 4 amongst my Goodreads friends. Can’t wait to read it; I might even break my YA contemporary streak this week to read it before we leave on our trip!

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski : I heard this was scary and shocking, and I’ve heard it’s overhyped; either way, I’ve heard this book will have me react, and I love books that have an effect on me. Also, it’s super interesting inside!

What did you add to your shelves recently?
