Filling the Shelf – 108
Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday or the more recent Stacking the Shelves, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit the two hosts!
Hello, and happy first of July to all my fellow Canadian bloggers!
I feel like the blog has been a tad too quiet lately, but I had a great excuse; I was too captivated by Stephen King’s Under the Dome to do much else! I’m about halfway through now and I can hardly put it down. I still have no idea where exactly this is going, so it’s all quite exciting!
Some new books on the shelf this week! I got Storm Front and Blameless at the store on Sunday. I have always meant to read the Dresden Files series since I heard great things about them, and I really do want to catch up with Gail Carriger’s series! I’m still shocked that the series managed to end before I caught up, even though I bought the first book the week it came out! Where has all the time gone???
The other four books I got for review. I discovered Accidents Happen last week in other readers’ mailboxes and was super intrigued. Going on Netgalley later, it was a nice surprise to see I had an opportunity to request it!
Storm Front by Kim Butcher / Blameless by Gail Carriger
Brooklyn Girls by Gemma Burgess / Accidents Happen by Louise Millar
The Returned by Jason Mott / The Infinite Moment of Us by Lauren Myracle
What did you add to your shelves recently?
The Accident’s Happen cover is creepy.
Brooklyn Girls should be good.
Returned seems to be quite popular. I picked one up at the BEA. Haven’t read it yet, though.
ENJOY your week.

Accidents Happen looks intense! I liked the way the Alexia series ended- hope you enjoy catching up! The Infinite Moment of Us looks so good – can’t wait to read it!
Happy Canada Day and have a great week!
I got Accidents Happen too. Doesn’t it look good? I hope you have a great week in books!
These are all new-to-me titles. Hope you love them! I love netgalley 🙂
