Filling the Shelf – 107

Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday or the more recent Stacking the Shelves, but with a title that suits my blog! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit the two hosts!

Happy Monday all!

Books, books everywhere!

I finished filling the shelves of our new place this week and oh my, I’m pretty sure my books have been duplicating secretly in the boxes while I wasn’t looking!

I have been doing my part to multiply the books too, of course. Catherine McKenzie (loved what I read of hers previously) and The Rosie Project, which sounds sort of fun and light in the best way.

Then, a bunch of YA contemporaries; Sarah Dessen and Sarah Ockler’s new novels, two authors whom I now consider favorites. Also, my second novel by Jennifer E. Smith and Wild Awake, which pretty much captured my interest by its fun synopsis.

There were a few more additions too, though in French translations, and more on the literary side; mainly Haruki Murakami and Arto Paasilinna, two favorites of mine!

  1. The Rosie Project looks like it might be interesting!

  2. I desperately want to read Hidden…it is not available in the US…yet. So I have to ponder whether or not to wait, or order it from Amazon.Ca or UK.

The Sarah Dessen book looks tempting, too. Enjoy!

  7. Great mailbox. The covers are amazing. A cover always pulls me in. 🙂

I laughed when you said how they are duplicating and multiplying. It certainly seems that way here too.

ENJOY all your books and your week.
