I’ve been a cat owner for several years now. And I have to admit, your comic captures the essence of trying to do anythin–reading, writing, whatever–while you have a cat in your lap. It’s great!
Adore. I don’t have a cat anymore but I sure do miss reading with her!! Even if she did want to use the corner of my book for her personal scratching tool.
I love this great comic!i have had so many books cat marked and chewed . Cats dont want you sitting still and not involving them…sleeping is for getting slept on. Books are to chew on. Food is to be broken in half and left for you as the butler too clean up

If I stretch out across the sofa, then I get to read and my cat gets to snuggle up on my boobs. He’s happy and I’m happy!! 🙂
