I really enjoyed Maggie Stiefvater’s werewolves series, The Wolves of Mercy Fall, and her new book has such an intriguing premise! I have to find out whether it works for me, or not.

I haven’t heard of the book but it looks intriguing. I skipped last week because I didn’t have any new wish list books, nor had I finished reading any wish list books. Please come see what I’m wishing for this week.
I picked up the book solely on the fact that Maggie Stiefvater was the author, since I enjoyed her other series as well. I didn’t regret it! I can honestly say The Scorpio Races stuck with me for a really long time. Great writing, as usual, and I loved not only the human characters, Puck and Sean, but some of the horses as well. They really became their own characters and it was just a really beautiful book. Definitely recommend it!
This one is on my wishlist as well! I love Maggie’s books and her writing style. Great pick! 🙂
I tried listening to Shiver on audio, and for some reason, it just didn’t work for me. It might have been the narrators, who sounded a little unprofessional, but I ended up giving it up about halfway through 🙁
I am going to be trying again, but in print this time!

I’ve seen this around but had no idea what it was about. I love the cover though I don’t know if I’ll ever pick it up.
Oh my gosh I LOVED this one, one of my favorite reads of the year. I’m partial to horses though, so this one really got to me:) Can’t wait to see what you think of it!
