Toronto Zoo, August 2011. Most of the big cats – my favorite animals! – were sleeping that day, so I didn’t manage to catch really great pictures. At least I had some great ones in 2008, and I can always go back! šŸ™‚

  1. They’re so beautiful! It’s really upsetting to think that at this rate tigers could be gone in less than 20 years : I really hope we change things before it’s too late.

    • This is one of the things in life that really tear my heart out. I feel like my little contributions are so little, I wish I could do so much more. Hopefully, like you said, things can be changed before it comes to that!

  2. Gorgeous!

  3. Awesome shots! I think the final one is my favorite… it looks like he’s talking to you!

    • I think he’s yelling “Get off my lawn!!!”

      Teehee!

      And thank you Meg šŸ™‚

  4. These are great! I especially like that third one — very nice.

  5. Amazing photos, such beautiful animals

  6. They are so majestic!

  7. Oh, they are so beautiful and amazing! I particularly like that last photo. You can almost hear the growl.

  8. they are great pictures of Mr. Tiger.

  9. Love the shot with the Cat peeking around the post! These are great! Happy WW!

  10. Bet they get more than cat food to eat…LOL Very amazing creatures – great photos

    • Lol I’m guessing the budget to feed them is a little more than the one to feed my cat. They are impressive beasts! And thank you for your comment šŸ™‚

  11. what amazing pictures! you got so close to the animals too. either that or you had amazing zoom on your camera. we went to the zoo last friday and most of the animals were asleep. =[ it was probably wayy too hot for any of them to go wandering around. the only big cats that were awake were the cougars.

  12. Aren’t they gorgeous! I love cats, even the big ones. They are just so sleek and graceful.

  13. Great pictures! I actually have even been to the Toronto Zoo, so it stands to reason I saw the same ones… šŸ™‚
