Filling the Shelf – 37
Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday (this month hosted by Amused by Books) or In my Mailbox (created by The Story Siren ), but with a title that suits my blog 😀 If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit those two awesome features!
Two more books for the shelf!
Actually, there were a couple more but I had some weird stomach bug this weekend and didn’t get much time to prepare this post – or anything blog related, for that matter! More next week! 🙂
Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink : This one was really popular when it first hit the stores a couple years back, and the series is still going strong from what I can see around the blogs. I love creepy stories with twins so of course I’ve wanted to read this one!
The Musician’s Daughter by Susanne Dunlap : The Goodreads summary describes it as “Murder and love—from the halls of Vienna’s imperial family to a perilous gypsy camp“. How could I not want to read this?
What did you add to your shelves recently? Have you read one of these two books?
Great books!
Hope your better soon 🙂 Stomach stuff is the worst.
Hope you are feeling much better! The Musician’s Daughter looks good.

The girl on the cover on the right looks like she could be related to the other two! Happy reading!
I thought so too when I placed them side by side! 😀
I need you to read and review The Musician’s Daughter asap – as I am DYING to know if it is as good as it sounds!
Happy reading!
The Musician’s Daughter should be good. I’ve read another book by Susanne Dunlap that was wonderful.
As a former violin player, The Musician’s Daughter catches my eye. Hope you are feeling better. There seems to be a ton of bugs floating around!
i love the covers of both books! and they both sound so intriguing too! hope you enjoy them.
If you want a reallllllly good book about twins, I recommend Chime by Franny Billingsley. This one missed the mark by quite a margin where twinness is concerned. At least in my opinion. 😀
Chime wasn’t really calling to me, but now that you and Kailana insist, I’ll have to add it to my wishlist! 😛
I am with The Book Wurm. I really liked Chime!
Hope you feel better soon!
The second one looks good to me!
yay for The Musician’s Daughter! i really really liked that one.
happy reading! <3
