Filling the Shelf – 29

Filling the Shelf is basically Mailbox Monday (this month hosted by A Sea of Books) or In my Mailbox (created by The Story Siren ), but with a title that suits my blog 😀 If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, I invite you to visit those two awesome features!

After what seemed to be an eternity, Canada Post resumed service and most of the books that had been waiting somewhere in a dark corner finally made their way home.

*Dramatic pause*

I can’t tell you the joy of opening the door and seeing the boxes I had been waiting for!

This is mostly what I got, plus a couple of other more I have already sunk my nose into and will be reviewing soon :

Blood Red Road by Moira Young (dystopia, YA) : I heard lots of good things on this one, and I just love the cover.

The Red Tree by Caitlin R. Kiernan (urban fantasy, fiction) : This one I haven’t read that many reviews about it, but the ones I read were really intriguing.

Angel Burn by L. A. Weatherly (paranormal, YA) : Angels and YA haven’t been a big success for me so far, so I have really no idea what will happen with this one.

City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare : Really enjoyed the first 3, they are perfect guilty-pleasure reads – exactly what my brain needs with all the heat!

What did you add to your shelves recently? Have you read any of these?
