Hi guys!

It is official :

I’m back!!!

Also official :

I turned in my last paper yesterday, which concluded not only my semester, but also my undergrad degree.

Yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

This has been a roller coaster, really, not only the semester but the whole “getting a diploma” thing. I’m really glad I did; it’s been an amazing experience, after all these years waiting and planning for it. There’s been a few bumps, but there always are in life, and in conclusion I’m just left feeling very happy and proud 🙂

However, I am beyond excited to finally have some me-time. I’ve barely touched my books in the last three months, and I cruelly missed it. Hours of reading and blogging are planned for the next few weeks! I missed reading reviews, thoughts on reading and writing, general posts by bloggers I follow, writing my own reviews and other kind of posts, etc.

So, see you out there in the big bad internet world – FINALLY! 😀

  6. A big congrats to you — this is awesome news! I remember how much I missed all my “free” reading while completing my English degree. Hope you can relax and read whatever the heck you wish from now on! 🙂

  7. Congratulations, Kay! What a huge thing you have accomplished and now you can RELAX! And get back to reading for FUN!

  10. Yay! I am glad you are back! I just came back, too. Time to breathe again, right?

  11. First of all, welcome back, Kay. 😀 Have missed your blog!

Second of all, congrats on completing everything!!! 😀 I know how hard you’ve worked for this.

God, doesn’t it feel great to finish your last paper? I remember the morning I finished my last one – It was my dissertation. I’d been up for 2 days with no sleep finishing it off. Finally I finished it and headed off to the printers to get it covered and bound. Once that was done, I went back to my house and sat down – something I shouldn’t have done! I ended up falling asleep with only 20 minutes to spare to hand it in! Hahaha! Luckily I lived pretty close to the office or else I’d have been in trouble.

    • It’s an amazing feeling! I can absolutely imagine falling asleep after that; I spent the last week on very little sleep, and it today is the first day I feel rested. I’m glad to hear you made it in time to the office though; imagine doing all this work and turning it in late!

  12. Thank you all! I am really glad to be back too! Getting back to blogging feels like a return to a more “normal”, less stressful life. Just in time for the nice weather we’re having here 🙂

  13. Congratulations! I’m so glad that you are back. And it is also good to hear that you will get some much needed time for yourself. I’m working on finishing up my undergrad degree right now. The hope is to finish up the quarter and graduate in June! It is so close now but there is still so much to be done! I look forward to the prospect of us reconnecting a bit through blogging in the upcoming weeks and months!

    • I will be sending positive thoughts your way for June! 🙂 I know the feeling, of the end being so close, but at the same time, too close in proportion to all the work to do. I have faith you’ll get through it, and you’ll feel great after!
I look forward to reconnecting too 😉

  14. Hooray! And congratulations! What books are up first, now that you have the time?

    • Aww thanks! I have a few recent YA novels at the top of my TBR list : some are parts of series I’ve been reading, other are new popular books. I also want to finish reading the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson, and maybe give Robert Jordan a try since he is one of The Man’s favorite authors!

    • I love both the Mistborn series and The Wheel of Time, so I heartily approve. 🙂
