Artsy Shelf – 26 – Just Flowers

This week, I am simply sharing with you some of the covers I like that feature flowers. Aren’t they beautiful?

I love them all! But my favorite is, without a doubt, This is Where we Live. If you happen to see a larger reproduction of it on the internet, or on the shelf, you’ll see even more closely how the photography is amazingly powerful. The colors, the movement, the broken glass… I love it! Once was Lost has a beautiful softness to it, and the falling petal suits the title in a very subtle way.

Which of these covers is your favorite? Have you read any of these books?

  1. I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE covers with mason jars. Seriously.

  2. Pass by my Friday post. You won a book 🙂

  3. I love all of those covers so pretty!

  4. They are beautiful covers, but knowing nothing about their plots the only one I’d be tempted to read would be Awaken. There is something about colourful flowers that puts me off – no idea why!

  5. I LOVE the cover for Once Was Lost…definitely makes me want to read it!

  6. I love The World in Half and Winter Bloom, that first one with the blue and the red flower is really haunting to me.

  7. Oooh, I love Winter Bloom! The colors are beautiful, too. Well-spotted!

  8. Haven’t read any of these, but I love the cover for Once Was Lost – the way it’s integrated with the text and has the single petal falling down is just beautiful!

  9. I like them all, but have to admit that I bought This is Where We Live for its cover.
