Hello everyone!
Hope you had a good week. I always comment on how time goes by fast, but the first couple weeks of January have felt like a month.
However, I did have time to listen to lots of audiobooks and wrote a quick post about the three thrillers I started the year with : The Collective by Alison Gaylin – Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney – Friends Like These by Kimberly McCreight. The Collective was the standout for me, I thought it had an interesting premise and was well executed.
Mailbox time!
Four new books this week in quite different genres. It’s possible it’s the second time I haul Know My Name, I had borrowed it from the library but I can only read little bit of it at a time, so I ended up getting a copy on my ereader. Looking forward to continuing on with Dune, as well as more historical romance narrated by Mary Jane Wells.

Know My Name by Chanel Miller – The World Gives Way by Marissa Levien
Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert – A Lady’s Guide to Mischief and Mayhem by Manda Collins (audio)
What did you add to your shelves this week?
A bunch of good ones! Enjoy.
Nice mix of books!
An historical rom-com ! The Lady’s Guide sounds charming.
I have heard of Miller’s book, looking forward to your thoughts on it.

Sounds like your reading year has started well.
The Lady’s Guide does sound cute but Know My Name sounds like an important book to read.
I hope you have a good week and Happy Reading!
I enjoyed The Collective. Have a great week!
