Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday all,

How have you been, how are things going where you are? Here at home things have been good, but our province is reopening some things this week and I’m a bit anxious to see how things will go. It’s been quite a divisive topic too, so I’ve found myself finding great confort in books.

Since all I’ve been reading lately is YA fantasy, that’s mostly what I’ve added to my shelves these past couple of weeks. Some are recent releases and some come from Bookoutlet. There’s a few authors I’ve enjoyed before in there, which is always fun.

Good news : I’ve started opening these book orders I did earlier this year when I went on a stress-buying frenzy – finally! Expect lots of “book mail” posts in the coming weeks (though let’s be frank, that’s almost the only type of posts I’ve been adding this year anyway!)

Stay safe everyone! <3

The Deepest Blue by Sarah Beth Durst – Blood Heir by Amélie Wen Zhao – Nameless Queen by Rebecca McLaughlin

The Other Side of the Bridge by Mary Lawson – Late Nights on Air by Elizabeth Hay

Red Hood by Elana K. Arnold – The Bone Houses by Emily Llooyd-Jones – The Wish Granter by C. J. Redwine (audio)

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. Oh, yes, opening up seems too hasty, doesn’t it? Especially when there are still people getting sick and dying. At least that’s the situation in the states.

I hope you enjoy your books, which are a great distraction. Stay safe and well, and thanks for visiting my blog.

  2. Those look perfect for you!

  3. I haven’t read any of your new fantasy books. They do look enticing.

  4. I hope you enjoy your books.

    Take care.

  5. I do hope opening with caution works well.
Sounds like fun opening your book deliveries!
All of your covers look so interesting. I need to look more closely at a couple.
Have a good week and enjoy your reading.
