Bloggiesta : Here we go!

I love reading marathons and such, so when I heard of the “Bloggiesta”, I immediately wanted to join in !

The Bloggiesta is an occasion to improve your blog and attack that big “to be reviewed” pile that’s been sitting on our desks! If you’re interested in joining, visit Natasha at Maw books Blog for the rules. You can also visit the “Sign Up” page to see who joined and what’s going up during those 2 days! It’s a fun 48 hours marathon without too much pressure : basically, you decide how much you want to put into it, whether it is 2 hours or 20!

To-Do list for the Bloggiesta :

1. Write reviews from the “To be Reviewed” pile : I have 12 books waiting to be reviewed, and I’d like to write at least half of them.
2. Write reviews for other books, mostly photography ones
3. Prepare a few features for the “Artsy Shelf”
4. Work on a new feature I have in mind
5. Improve the blog in some way : If you have stopped by this week, you might have notice I have changed the blog’s look again, after just a little over 2 weeks of the previous look! I wasn’t completely satisfied with that one, but this one, I am. It really “looks like me”. Still, there’s always place for improvement, so I’ll try to see what I can do! Any suggestions? Comments?
6. Update my Blogroll
7. Update the “About me” page
8. Update the “Contact and Info” page
9. Update the “Paper Brick Wall” page
10. Update my Challenges page : I’ve joined many challenges in the last few months but other than the “Summer Reading Blitz”, I haven’t post about those. So I plan on updating the Challenge page, and maybe create a post to talk about the challenges I join.
11. Update my “Read and Reviewed” page
12. Update my GoogleReader : I know officially the “Google Reader” isn’t really blog-related. But I have many links that need to be added to my reader, and I would like to do so, than stop by thoses blogs to say hi. I see it as a “blog work” because blogging is all about connecting and discussing with other readers. I also want to delete some of the “dead” feeds, and classify them in categories.
13. Update my info on “Book Blogs Ning” : I’ve joined a while ago, and then never took care of it! If you are on there too, please leave me a comment so I can add you too! 🙂
14. Update my Libraything account
15. Update my Goodreads account
16. Prepare Awards posts

My Goal for the challenge isn’t a number of hours (although I will count them for the fun), but a number of things I’d like to do. I’m hoping to do at least 6 of those, more importantly the first one!
