And I am a bit late to it. Silly me forgot that noon GMT meant morning for me, and what I thought was me waking up with an early start was in fact me waking up late to join the fun.
Woopsy!
The Read-a-Thon starts with this little meme that I always find really fun, so here are my answers :
1)Where are you reading from today?
Montreal, Canada. More precisely, from my couch or the computer chair. Probably from under our cat, too!
2)Three random facts about me…
I like tuna. I like stripes. I like unicorns!
3)How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?
Six! (see my previous post for the full list!)
4)Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?
I plan on reading 2 books, though I secretly hope for 3.
5)If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?
Plan a variety of reads in different genres to break monotony. Read shorter books for the same reason. Take at least a 5-10 minutes break every hour to move around a little. The energy you gain will help you get more reading done!
