Good Monday everyone,

Hope you had a good week! I had a bad flare up with my stomach issues, so I spent most of it in bed or on the couch. I didn’t do much reading, but I had a huge nostalgic feeling for some 2010 dystopia type of book, so I started listening to The Darkest Minds and it kept me somewhat entertained. I ended up grabbing book 2 and 3 right away.

I also added a couple of books to my physical shelf. I’ve enjoyed Adrienne Young’s previous books so I am looking forward to Saint, and I heard great things about Stephanie Foo’s memoir.

What my Bones Know by Stephanie Foo

Saint by Adrienne Young

Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken (audio)

In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken (audio)

What did you add to your shelves this week?

    • I do, thank you! And I agree, I like this cover too.

  3. I hope you’re feeling better and the trend continues upward! The memoir sounds like an emotional one.

    • Thank you, I have been feeling better by the day!
What my Bones Know does sound emotional, I might wait until after the holidays to read it. But I look forward to it.

  4. I hope you feel better this week.
I like the looks of The Saint and the two in the Darkest Minds series. I have the first book in the series and I’ll have to give it a try.

  6. Hope you are feeling better! I’m going to check out The Darkest Minds, I love dystopian books and haven’t read one in quite a while. Enjoy your books!

    • Thank you! I hadn’t read any dystopian book in a while either, and it’s been a lot of fun, especially because this series hasn’t been too bleak.

  7. I hope you’re feeling better

    • Thank you, things have been getting better a little bit every day!
