Good Monday everyone,

How was your week? Mine was much better, I’m back to normal and on top of that, it was a beautiful weekend, so I got to spend a lot of time outside. I love that time of the year when things start growing, prepping the flower beds and cleaning the yard. I’m ready for some more sunny days!

Here are the books I added to my shelves this week. Between sales, preorders, library holds and regular buys, I’m expecting some big hauls in the coming weeks, but I’m really looking forward to them all! I’m in the middle of Luster right now and loving it. I’m not sure if I’ll get to The Death of Vivek Oji in time but if not, I’ll renew it later for sure.

Scarlet in Blue by Jennifer Murphy – Unmasked: My Life Solving America’s Cold Cases by Paul Holes (audio)

little scratch by Rebecca Watson – Luster by Raven Leilani

The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi (library) – Imago by Octavia E. Butler (audio)

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. Looks like a great collection of books. Hope you get to enjoy a few of them before the bigger piles you are expecting come in.

  2. Little Scratch looks interesting. Enjoy.

  3. I love this time of year when the trees and flowers are beginning to bud and bloom. We’ve been a bit cooler and rainier than usual but I know things will warm eventually. I hope you love all your new books. I’ve noticed Unmasked on a few blogs recently.
