Welcome to Filling the Shelf, or as many of you know it, Mailbox Monday! If you’re interested in joining the fun or seeing what other bloggers added to their shelves, click away! (but beware, visiting other mailboxes will probably add to your neverending wishlist!)

Good Monday!

Hope you all had a good week!

Fun fact : today is my 12th anniversary on the blog. 12 years! I’ll admit I never thought I would stick with it this long. True, I don’t post much more than “Mailbox Monday” posts nowadays (though I always promise myself I’ll write more reviews… maybe in 2021?), but I still enjoy having a little corner of the internet that’s just mine.

Here are the books I added to my shelf this week. City of Girls is from the library and I’m not sure I’ll get to it within the next couple weeks, but I intend on borrowing it again if I can’t make time for it right away.

I’m still in a romance mood, so that explains all the bright and colorful covers this week!

Stay safe everyone! <3

A Study in Scarlet Women by Sherry Thomas (audio) – City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert (audio) (library)

The Bride Test by Helen Hoang The Boyfriend Project by Farrah Rochon

Get a Life, Chloe Brown and Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert

What did you add to your shelves this week?

  1. Congratulations on your twelve years of blogging. I hit twelve years last April, and I am surprised that I am still doing it, but that I also have six blogs in total. Some of them have been with me for around ten years.

Those books look good…and the colorful covers are grabbing me. Thanks for sharing…and for visiting my blog.

    • Thank you! Six blogs! That’s really impressive, especially keeping up with them so long. Thank you for stopping by. 🙂

  2. “Happy Blogging Anniversary” You got me to thinking about how long Fiction Books has been around, so I did some checking and my earliest recorded post was published in April 2010, so that’s coming up to 11 years – It just doesn’t seem possible!

I would probably read any of your featured books, but I don’t think any of them would I go out and buy for myself! You have the complete range of time eras here .. Historical, modern and contemporary, so something for whatever mood you are in.

I love the new style contemporary cover art, they look so cheery and inviting!

Enjoy them all and have a safe week 🙂

    • Thannk you! It goest by quick doesn’t it? Whenever my anniversary comes up I like to look back at my old posts, it’s always interesting.

I love the new cover style too! They really are inviting. Hope you had a great week!

I quite enjoyed two of the books you have on this list – A Study in Scarlet Women (and i’ve never liked a Sherlock story before!) and The Bride Test.

  6. Congratulations on 12 years! I have the Sherry Thomas audio which I hope to listen to someday.
